Unit 5: Traits and Heredity (cont.) - For the next two weeks, we will be finishing up Science Core Standard 5 which is: Students will understand that traits are passed from the parent organisms to their offspring, and that sometimes the offspring may possess variations of these traits that may help or hinder survival in a given environment. I will provide a link to the lessons and experiments that I will be teaching during that week. Lessons may not be exactly as described because I am trying to integrate more reading and writing into the activities than would normally be the case. For the upcoming week, I will be covering the following concepts:

(01/25 thru 01/29): Review for Unit 5 test and take test. Retake on tests may be taken at home. Parents may not give answers but may prompt and ask questions to help their child better understand the concept.
